Our story
We found it in 2018. It chose us.
Our story began in 2018, when we discovered this magical spot — a hidden gem between the forest and the mountains. With every glance, every birdsong and every murmur of the creek in the garden, we became sure this was the perfect place to unwind with family and friends.
With plenty of enthusiasm, our own savings and support from Romania’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, we renovated the house and landscaped the garden. Step by step, the place became “Ideal for Holidays!” — hence the name.

What makes it different
When evening falls, the garden lights up.
Strings of warm bulbs trace the pond, the gazebos and the stone paths. We switch them on every evening — and indoors, above every bed, hangs a tree branch with bulbs on ropes. Light is the signature of the house.
Rooms
Every room has its own landscape on the wall.
Five en-suite rooms, each with its own wall mural — rolling hills, a mountain river, a lake with firs, a flower meadow — and a branch pendant with bulbs. Rates are the same on weekdays and weekends.

Fishing at the pond
Sport fishing right in the garden, for beginners and keen anglers alike.
Football or tennis
The sports court next to the house, with the forest at its edge.
Playground
A wooden playhouse, swings, a slide and a trampoline for the little ones.
Grill, cauldron & disc
A roomy gazebo with a barbecue and a hearth for cauldron or disc cooking.
Hammocks & swings
Rest with the mountains in front of you after a day of hiking.

A generous living room with a pool table, table football and board games.

Book the whole guesthouse for at least 2 nights, bring us at least 5 books to read — preferably for children — and get 15% off. We know from experience that as children grow up, books stay unused on the shelf. Every donated book goes to children in foster centres, day centres or school libraries.
